System Requirements
Check if your Mac is compatible with MouseViz.
Requirements
- macOS: 26 (Tahoe) or later
- Processor: Apple Silicon & Intel (universal binary)
- Storage: ~15 MB for the app, plus space for recorded sessions
Required Permissions
MouseViz requires two macOS permissions:
- Accessibility — To track mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, and keyboard input.
- Screen Recording — To capture display content for overlays and exports.
Both are granted through System Settings during the onboarding flow.
Multi-Display Support
MouseViz supports multi-monitor setups and automatically follows the active screen during recording.
