Keyboard Shortcuts
MouseViz keyboard shortcuts for recording, markers, visualization, and notes.
Recording

Pause and resume are available from the floating control bar and menu bar, but not as a global keyboard shortcut.
Task Markers
Place markers during a recording session to flag moments of interest:

| Numbered marker (1–9) | ⌘1 through ⌘9 |
Markers appear on the timeline and can be used to segment heatmaps by task.

When using a study script with the task conductor:

Customizing Shortcuts
- Open MouseViz > Settings > Shortcuts.
- Click on the shortcut you want to change.
- Press your desired key combination.
- The new shortcut takes effect immediately.
Reserved shortcuts (⌘Q, ⌘W, ⌘A, etc.) cannot be assigned.
URL Schemes
